Bell Lumber & Pole’s excellent reputation has been built on a long history of supplying quality wood poles to the standards and specifications of utility companies throughout North America.

Known as one of the largest producers of cedar poles in North America, Bell Lumber & Pole also produces large quantities of red pine and lodgepole pine poles.

The company has been owned and run by the Bell family since it was incorporated in 1909 by its founder, M.J. Bell, Sr. His great-grandson, Tom Bell, is continuing the tradition.

Bell Timber is a leading purchaser of high quality timber meeting the stringent specifications for various species of wooden utility poles. Through this process, Bell Timber maintains extensive and stable supply sources across the U.S. and Canada.

Wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Lumber & Pole:
Bell Timber is the fiber procurement arm and wholly owned subsidiary of the nearly 100 year old family held, Bell Lumber & Pole Co., a leading seller of wooden utility poles.

Staff of professional foresters & production yards:
Bell Timber Inc. owns and operates strategically located production yards in WA, ID, MN, WI and MI and sources fiber from industry partners in several other states. With it’s experienced and proven staff of professional foresters and timber buyers, Bell Timber is able to maintain the demanding inventory levels of this industry in a sustainable fashion.

Forest management:
With its’ proven and able staff of professional resource managers, Bell Timber is proud to provide forest management assistance to private woodland owners in WA, ID, MN, WI and MI.
