Bell Lumber & Pole has been supplying wood utlity poles to North American utility markets for over 95 years. Founded by M.J. Bell in 1909, Bell Lumber & Pole is still proudly owned and operated by the Bell family.

Employing a large, experienced forestry staff to manage our forest resources, Bell Lumber & Pole often
exceeds standards set by the various provincial, federal and state agencies involved.

Bell Lumber & Pole has some of the most sophisticated and environmentally safe pressure treating plants
in north America.
Bell Lumber & Pole meets or exceeds the standards set for pressure treatment by numerous organizations
in both the U.S. and Canada, including the American Standards Institute, Rural Utility Specification,
American Society for Testing and Materials, Canadian Standards Association, Canadian Wood Preservers’
Association, and American Wood Preservers Association.
